Ready for your family and friends this holiday season? Join Certified Specialist of Wine Kim Simone to learn about crowd-pleasing wines that are affordable, delicious, and go great with holiday dining. Kim will guide the tasting in her trademark casual style and discuss what wines are better to serve with what dishes, and how to be sure to have something at the table that all your guests will enjoy.

Tickets are $65 and include 5 tasting pours and light snacks.

Kim Simone is a Certified Specialist of Wine with a mission to make wine education accessible, engaging, and fun with unique themes, friendly presentations, and practical information about wine that is immediately useful to her clients. Her events and seminars employ creative topics and a casual approach to bring the wonderful world of wine to life. She began her career at Martignetti Liquors as a wine consultant in 2002 while attending Boston University’s Master’s program in Gastronomy. Since that time, she has worked for wholesaler Ruby Wines, selling wine to restaurants and retailers on the South Shore, and started her independent wine consulting and education company, Vinitas Wineworks, LLC in 2014. Kim is a certified instructor for the French Wine Scholar Program, teaches teach Adult Education courses in wine for seven communities south of Boston, and is a facilitator in the Wine Studies program at Boston University. In addition to conducting her own events, she and a colleague co-host the Franklin Wine Club and the radio program The Wonderful World of Wine on Franklin Public Radio. Kim holds the WSET Advanced Certificate, is a Certified Specialist of Wine, and attained the distinction of French Wine Scholar with Highest Honors from the Wine Scholar Guild. She is currently studying for the prestigious Certified Wine Educator title conferred by the Society of Wine Educators.
